This Privacy Policy explains what information GetAskAI processes when you use the service and how we handle it. We keep things simple and privacy-friendly: you can use GetAskAI without creating an account.

Information we collect

We process the questions and messages you type and any image or PDF you choose to upload. For security and to prevent abuse, we also process basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your request. Because GetAskAI has no accounts, we do not collect names, passwords or profiles.

How we use your information

We use your input only to generate an answer, to operate and secure the service, and to apply the daily usage limit. We may use anonymous, aggregated statistics to understand usage and improve the service.

Files you upload

Images are processed entirely in memory and are never written to disk. PDFs may be written to a temporary file for a few seconds so their text can be extracted, and that file is deleted immediately in the same request. Once your answer is generated, no file remains on our servers.

Data retention

We store your questions, the answers and anonymous usage statistics (such as approximate country, device type and how you reached the site) to operate and improve the service. This data is not linked to your identity: your IP address is only processed in hashed, non-identifying form and is never stored raw. We set no tracking or advertising cookies of our own. Technical server logs are kept briefly for security.

Sharing with third parties

To generate answers, your questions are sent to the AI infrastructure that powers the service. We do not sell your data and we do not share it except as needed to run the service or to comply with the law.

Advertising

GetAskAI is funded by advertising. Third-party advertising networks may set their own cookies or process data to deliver and measure ads. This processing is carried out under the responsibility of those networks and their own privacy policies.

Cookies and local storage

We use only the cookies and local storage that are technically necessary for the service to work. We do not set our own tracking cookies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data. Because we store very little and use no account, these requests are limited in scope, but you can always contact us.

Children's privacy

GetAskAI is not directed to children. If you are under the age required in your country to consent to online services, please use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

GetAskAI can be used from anywhere in the world. Depending on where our providers operate, your data may be processed in countries other than your own.
